At The Edge, the big dream has always been to share the good news of Jesus Christ with hip hoppers in a way that makes sense to them by people who dress and talk like them. We stand for unity, diversity, compassion, and uplifting the next generation, creating spaces where real change can happen.
OUR APPROACH IS SIMPLE:
We bring people in through outreach, grow them in tight-knit communities, and equip them to live out their creative purpose with passion. With a vibe that’s welcoming, real, and focused on impact, we’re here to make a difference in our city and beyond.

We envision a vibrant movement of young disciple-makers igniting the Midwest with the transformative power of the gospel. Our mission is to empower individuals to reach one another, sparking a chain reaction of life and faith that reverberates through every neighborhood, workplace, campus, and community space. Through the love and power of Jesus, we aim to create lasting change, breathing new life into our cities and inspiring a generation to experience the extraordinary. This is not just a shift; it’s a game-changing movement that will redefine our communities.

Discipleship Model
At The Edge we have strategically designed our ministry to reach the young and young at heart and be inviting to those who identify with hip-hop culture.
SEND 'EM OUT
We discover, develop & deploy our God-given purpose. This means working on our craft until it produces & helping others work on theirs until it produces (Genesis 1:28; Ephesians 4:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:11)
RAISE 'EM UP
We passionately go do what God has called us to do where we live, work, play & worship so that when people ask why…we Bring Em In (John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15)
SIT 'EM DOWN
We learn in smaller group settings called ‘cyphers’ what it means to know Jesus, be changed by Jesus & be committed to the mission of Jesus. (Mark 1:16-18; 1 John 4:16-21; James 2:17-24)
BRING 'EM IN
We intentionally look for opportunities to bring people into relationship with Jesus and into relationship with the EDGE family. (1 John 1:3)
